Restricted Species

Length: Grows up to 24 inches long.

Foods: Feeds on squid, krill, scallops, and silverslides.

Reef Compatibility: Reef Safe, but will eat small crustaceans.

Water Conditions: Temp. 75-78F;Salinity 27-31ppt or 1.020-1.023 sg; pH 8.1-8.4. Does not fare well with fluctuations in temperature,salinity and pH.

Special Needs: Needs a large tank (150 gallon long minimum), strong filtration such as u.v. sterilizer and protein skimmer can be kept with sharks and needs room to burrow and swim.
