Length: Grows up to 24 inches.
Foods: Feeds on meaty foods such as:chopped squid, scallops, and krill. Will feed on crabs, shrimps, and small fish.
Reef Compatibility: Reef Safe, but will eat small invertebrates and small fish that can fit into its mouth.
Water Conditions: Temp. 73-78F. Salinity 27-31ppt or 1.020-1.023, pH 8.1-8.4
Special Needs: This is a hardy fish, needs rocks to hide in, can be placed in a tank with invertebrates that cannot fit into its mouth and it can be housed with other groupers.
