Length: Grows up to 10 feet long.
Foods: Feeds on shrimps, squids, krill, scallops, and small fish.
Reef Compatiblity: Not Reef Safe.
Water Conditions: Temp. 72-78F. Salinity 27-31ppt or 1.020-1.023 sg; pH 8.1-8.4. Does not fare well with fluctuations in temperature,salinity and pH.
Special Needs: Needs a large tank, strong filtration such as u.v. sterilizer and protein skimmer. This fish is seasonal(Summer)fish. This shark is a bottom dweller, a Protein Skimmer is recommended due to all the waste this fish gives off, and is inactive during the day. But with the use of a red incandescnet lighting it may become more active. Will eat small fish such as damsels, clowns, pygmy angels...
