Water Conditions: Temp. 75-78F. Salinity 27-31ppt or 1.020-1.023 sg., pH 8.1-8.4.
Special Needs: Needs a fairly large tank, hardy fish, and can be placed in a aggressive tank or a reef tank.

It is known to occur in the warm waters of the Indo-Pacific region and has been recorded from various locations including the Cocos (Keeling) Islands, Australia, Indonesia, Taiwan, Philippines, Palau, Marshall Islands, Papua New Guinea, Solomon Islands, Vanuatu, and New Caledonia.
