Foods: Eats various foods. Such as sponges, mysis shrimp, brine shrimp, Spirulina algae, broccoli, Angel Formula or foods enriched with Zoecon.
Reef Compatibility: Not recommended. This fish will eat corals and invertebrates.
Water Chemistry: Water Temp. 72-79F. Salinity 27-31ppt or 1.020-1.023 sg, pH 8.1-8.4. Does not fare well with fluctuations in temperature,salinity and pH.
Special Needs: This fish needs strong filtration such as a protein skimmer and u.v. sterilizer is recommended, needs a lot of room to swim , it is very territorial, should not be kept with other large angels from the same Pomacanthus family. Recommended for an established tank.
